VINTAGE DRESS

d e s i g n e r : unknown - I saw a few vintage dresses like this but they aren't quite the same. The one by Riazee is very close but this particular dress has quite a bit more beading - it's VERY heavy and every inch is covered.
d e t a i l s : Stunning vintage 1980s black beaded party dress with butterfly cut out. This is VERY heavy with every inch hand beaded. The front of the dress is entirely black with a deep v neckline, nipped in waist with draping detail and a long slim skirt with high front slit. Long tapered sleeves with snap closures. The back of the dress has a beautiful cut out butterfly with colorful sequins. There is a hook and eye closure at the back of the neck and a zipper closure mid back. A special piece indeed! Unlined.

c o n d i t i o n : Great overall condition. There are a few small strings mainly on the inside of the arms and side torso. I don't see any loose beading and I believe everything is very stable.

✦ SIZING - Vintage clothing sizing does not reflect modern standards. When determining size, make sure you account for enough room to move comfortably. Additionally, vintage clothing is more fragile and should be worn with this in mind. Occasionally there are seam allowances or darts that can be removed, as well as tailors that can alter a vintage item to fit your particular shape.
When determining size I recommend measuring the following:
HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your natural waistline.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: measure from the very top of your shoulder - where the seam would lie, down the front, over the bust, to your waistline.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, down the front, and to the point where the hem would be. Inseam measurements for pants would be measured from the inside of the leg at the very top of the groin, down to the hem.
✦ SHOE SIZING - I tale actual measurements inside the shoe from toe to heel, as well as width measurements inside the shoe as accurately as possible.
