VINTAGE ROBE
e r a : this could possibly be late 20s - the way it fastens to the side with the button is very reminiscent of that era - however the buttons down the arm seem 1930s - SO my educated guess is late 20's to early 30s
f a b r i c : rayon - has a satin sheen to it and resembles silk - it's on the heavier weight and drapes beautifully
f a s t e n e r s : side button closure, belt
d e s i g n e r : unknown
d e t a i l s : Beautiful and unique late 20s early 30s moss green rayon robe. Many unique details! The long tapered sleeves are dolman style (so quite open in the bust area) and little buttons down adorn the entire length of both arms. The arms are also open/split along the bottom to the elbow. The same buttons (but functioning) close at the wrists. There is a wide lapel/collar and matching self fabric belt that consists of two belts in different colors (green and cream). Beautiful stitching detail along the top near the shoulders.

c o n d i t i o n : Overall good condition with a handful of small spots - a few of which formed tiny holes. The most noticeable one is on the collar area in front. You could probably add a snap there and it would be covered up. There are also a few below the waist on the front and a couple of very light spots on the back. However, this presents beautifully. There are 2 buttons missing near the bottom of one of the arms and 1 button from the wrist on the same arm.

NEED TO KNOW:
✦ MOST sales are considered final. Returns can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if there is a significant error in the listing. Time is spent to give accurate measurements on each item, so I unfortunately can not offer returns for items that do not fit. TERRASITA also can not accept returns on undergarments, bathing-suits, or items from the 1920's or earlier due to their fragile nature. Additional absolutely no returns or exchanges on Layaway items.
✦ Vintage clothing is pre-worn and pre-loved and as a result some pieces may show signs of wear or use. I carefully inspect each item and disclose any signs of wear in our detailed descriptions.
✦ If you have any questions about fit, color, or need any additional photos, please don't hesitate to ask questions before you decide to purchase. I want you to be happy with your item!
✦ SIZING - Vintage clothing sizing does not reflect modern standards. When determining size, make sure you account for enough room to move comfortably. Additionally, vintage clothing is more fragile and should be worn with this in mind. Occasionally there are seam allowances or darts that can be removed, as well as tailors that can alter a vintage item to fit your particular shape.
When determining size I recommend measuring the following:
HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your natural waistline.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: measure from the very top of your shoulder - where the seam would lie, down the front, over the bust, to your waistline.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, down the front, and to the point where the hem would be. Inseam measurements for pants would be measured from the inside of the leg at the very top of the groin, down to the hem.
✦ SHOE SIZING - I tale actual measurements inside the shoe from toe to heel, as well as width measurements inside the shoe as accurately as possible.
