d e s i g n e r : unknown
d e t a i l s : Rare and lovely late 1920s early 1930s burgundy chunky hand knit sweater. This has a fold-over design with 3 large saucer buttons with loops on one side, a small pointed collar, long sleeves with slight bell shape and matching saucer buttons, and a low belt with celluloid loop. There are two distinct knitting designs that give it a unique look. This would look great layered!

c o n d i t i o n : Excellent - this has one little spot on the arm cuff where there is a break in the knitting stitches. Easy fix with a few stitches.

s i z i n g : this is a great size, but it's also shown here on an XS, and I could see it as a layering piece also. See measurements for exact fit.
m e a s u r e m e n t s (inches) : (mannequin is an XS)
length: 27 (from shoulder to bottom hem)
bust: 40
waist: 34 (or belted smaller) - I measured this with the belt at the widest setting, but if the belt was removed the waist would be quite a bit larger.
hips: 50
Thanks for looking!
NEED TO KNOW:
✦ MOST sales are considered final. Returns can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if there is a significant error in the listing. Time is spent to give accurate measurements on each item, so I unfortunately can not offer returns for items that do not fit. TERRASITA also can not accept returns on undergarments, bathing-suits, or items from the 1920's or earlier due to their fragile nature. Additional absolutely no returns or exchanges on Layaway items.
✦ Vintage clothing is pre-worn and pre-loved and as a result some pieces may show signs of wear or use. I carefully inspect each item and disclose any signs of wear in our detailed descriptions.
✦ If you have any questions about fit, color, or need any additional photos, please don't hesitate to ask questions before you decide to purchase. I want you to be happy with your item!
✦ SIZING - Vintage clothing sizing does not reflect modern standards. When determining size, make sure you account for enough room to move comfortably. Additionally, vintage clothing is more fragile and should be worn with this in mind. Occasionally there are seam allowances or darts that can be removed, as well as tailors that can alter a vintage item to fit your particular shape.
When determining size I recommend measuring the following:
HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your natural waistline.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: measure from the very top of your shoulder - where the seam would lie, down the front, over the bust, to your waistline.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, down the front, and to the point where the hem would be. Inseam measurements for pants would be measured from the inside of the leg at the very top of the groin, down to the hem.
✦ SHOE SIZING - I tale actual measurements inside the shoe from toe to heel, as well as width measurements inside the shoe as accurately as possible.
