Excellent overall condition with the following to note: as stated above in the measurements, the pants were altered at some point with a side gusset to take them from a 26" waist to a 28" waist. It's really well done and I didn't even notice it until I was inspecting them closely. Also, if you wanted to return them to the original size, it would be very easy to simply remove the added gusset and restitch the original seam back up the side. There is one button replaced on pants on the top - it's a slightly different color, there are two little flaws in the fabric on the front of the shirt near the waistband, but it's not a hole and more like two small scratches. There is a slight seam pop to the back dart of the shirt, but it's not through the shirt - it's just affecting the outer stitches. A little fray on one spot of the silver piping. Finally, missing the outer silver ring on one of the pearlized snaps on the back of pants. The waistband inside has some wear but it's not a stretchy type of band so it doesn't affect the sizing at all. Overall, presents amazing and these are little issues.
Thanks for looking!
NEED TO KNOW:
✦ MOST sales are considered final. Returns can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if there is a significant error in the listing. Time is spent to give accurate measurements on each item, so I unfortunately can not offer returns for items that do not fit. TERRASITA also can not accept returns on undergarments, bathing-suits, or items from the 1920's or earlier due to their fragile nature. Additional absolutely no returns or exchanges on Layaway items.
✦ Vintage clothing is pre-worn and pre-loved and as a result some pieces may show signs of wear or use. I carefully inspect each item and disclose any signs of wear in our detailed descriptions.
✦ If you have any questions about fit, color, or need any additional photos, please don't hesitate to ask questions before you decide to purchase. I want you to be happy with your item!
✦ SIZING - Vintage clothing sizing does not reflect modern standards. When determining size, make sure you account for enough room to move comfortably. Additionally, vintage clothing is more fragile and should be worn with this in mind. Occasionally there are seam allowances or darts that can be removed, as well as tailors that can alter a vintage item to fit your particular shape.
When determining size I recommend measuring the following:
HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your natural waistline.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: measure from the very top of your shoulder - where the seam would lie, down the front, over the bust, to your waistline.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, down the front, and to the point where the hem would be. Inseam measurements for pants would be measured from the inside of the leg at the very top of the groin, down to the hem.
✦ SHOE SIZING - I tale actual measurements inside the shoe from toe to heel, as well as width measurements inside the shoe as accurately as possible.
