d e t a i l s : Gorgeous 1960s era black velvet with white satin Malcolm Starr party dress. The dress is sleeveless with thin spaghetti straps. The waist is slightly empire with a white satin band, lovely pleating details in the front with a bow details, straight neckline and long heavy velvet skirt. Matching jacket double breasted jacket has rhinestone ball button closures and long sleeves. Just cropped enough to show the little bow detail! Perfect holiday party dress!

c o n d i t i o n : Great overall condition - I thought I saw an ever so slight yellowing under one arm, but if it's there it's nearly impossible to see and I couldn't even photograph it.

Additionally, vintage clothing is more fragile and should be worn with this in mind. Occasionally there are seam allowances or darts that can be removed, as well as tailors that can alter a vintage item to fit your particular shape.
When determining size I recommend measuring the following:
HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your natural waistline.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: measure from the very top of your shoulder - where the seam would lie, down the front, over the bust, to your waistline.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, down the front, and to the point where the hem would be. Inseam measurements for pants would be measured from the inside of the leg at the very top of the groin, down to the hem.
